The final day of class has arrived! It’s been a pleasure spending the semester with you all, discovering how powerful and useful the computer can be. In preparation for the final exam (April 22nd), I’ve put together a final review. Solutions will be posted on Friday. Also, the database referred to in part 4 is still under construction and should be ready by tomorrow.

Course evaluations are an excellent form of feedback to help me understand ways in which I can improve my teaching as well as this course. As a result, I would really appreciate it if each of you could submit a course evaluation. The deadline is April 14, and you can do them online. Here are the instructions:

- Log into your MINERVA account where a pop-up window will appear prompting you to fill out evaluations.

If no pop-up window appears, you can access the course evaluations by:
1. Selecting Student Menu
2. Clicking on Mercury Online Course Evaluation Menu
3. Then on Submit your course evaluations

Lectures 15, 16, 17 and 18 are now online.

Homework 7 is now posted, due next Wednesday. You’ll need to use material from Lecture 17.

Nina correctly pointed out that taking the log of a negative number raises some problems. It’s a badly written question, so consider it removed from this assignment. A version of it that makes more sense will appear in the next homework assignment. Sorry about that!

Lecture 14 is now posted and available for viewing. You’ll likely need it to complete Homework 6.

Homework 6 is now posted. It’s due next Wednesday (the 24th).

After checking into it, moving our final exam isn’t an option. It’s now scheduled for April 22, 2010 in Trottier 3120 (the same room we had our mid-term in) from 2-5 PM.
